About the Event:
Join us for an exploration of how to incorporate fermented foods into your cooking and learn about the benefits of fermented foods beyond just adding probiotics to your diet. Steve Pavey and Ryan Koch of Counterculture Ferments will host a discussion of the many health benefits of fermented foods, with a focus on fermented cabbage (kimchi and sauerkrauts). Participants will get to taste several different raw ferments as well as cooked and uncooked samples of simple meals and snacks that they will learn how to prepare in their own kitchens.
